Marketplace Seller Terms

Last Updated: June 2026

1. Seller Registration & Stripe Integration

These Marketplace Seller Terms apply to all users who list items for sale on the Squinted platform. To list inventory, you must complete our comprehensive seller verification process.

Squinted Ltd partners exclusively with Stripe Connect to verify merchant profiles and facilitate financial disbursements. By listing an item, you authorize Squinted to create a Stripe Connected Account on your behalf and agree to provide accurate banking, identity, and contact references. Payouts cannot be processed to unverified, un-linked, or non-UK bank accounts.

2. Listing Requirements & Representation

Sellers assume full legal and administrative responsibility for the accuracy of their product listings. All listings must conform to the following baseline parameters:

3. Shipping Timelines & Fulfillment Commitments

Once a buyer completes checkout, a binding sales contract is generated directly between you and the buyer. To maintain platform reliability, you agree to fulfill orders in accordance with our strict logistics window:

4. Fees, Commission, and Payout Mechanics

Listing an item on Squinted is completely free. Upon a successful sale, Squinted Ltd deducts a structural platform commission and payment processing fee from the total purchase price prior to final distribution. All applicable fee percentages are displayed inside your profile dashboard.

To safeguard the community ecosystem, funds paid by the buyer are held securely in a temporary staging capacity within Stripe Connect. Payouts are triggered and disbursed directly to your linked bank account only when the buyer confirms safe delivery, or when the 72-hour post-delivery inspection window expires without a dispute being logged.

5. Returns, Misrepresentation, and Dispute Protocols

Because Squinted is a peer-to-peer marketplace, buyers do not have a statutory right to return items simply due to a change of mind or personal preference regarding facial fit. All sales are final.

However, if a buyer files a formal dispute proving that an item arrived broken, counterfeit, or significantly misrepresented (e.g., un-disclosed lens scratches or completely incorrect frame dimensions), the transaction will be suspended. If our administrative panel resolves the dispute in favor of the buyer, the pending payout will be reversed entirely, and you may be held liable for return shipping costs or platform transaction penalties.
