At Squinted, your trust is our priority. We understand that buying online requires confidence, which is why we’ve built the Squinted Guarantee. 2. What is Covered
The Squinted Buyer Protection applies in the following scenarios:
- Item Not Received: The seller fails to provide valid tracking, or the item does not arrive within the estimated delivery window.
- Significantly Not As Described (SNAD): The item received is materially different from the listing (e.g., wrong model, incorrect size, undisclosed damage, or missing essential parts).
- Authenticity Guarantee: If an item is found to be an unauthorised replica or counterfeit, Squinted will intervene immediately.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for protection under the Squinted policy:
- Platform Integrity: The purchase must be completed entirely through the Squinted secure checkout. Transactions completed outside of Squinted (e.g., external money transfers or "off-platform" links) are not eligible for protection.
- Timely Filing: You must report an issue within 14 days of the delivery date or the final estimated delivery date.
- Account Standing: Your account must be in good standing and not flagged for previous policy violations.
4. The Squinted Resolution Process
We aim to make disputes as painless as possible:
- Talk to the Seller: We require buyers to message the seller through the Squinted dashboard first. Most issues are honest mistakes that can be solved with a simple conversation.
- Ask Squinted to Step In: If the seller is unresponsive or fails to provide a resolution within 48 hours, you can escalate the case to our support team.
- The Review: Our team will review the evidence provided (photos, chat logs, and tracking data). If the claim is validated, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
5. Returns & Shipping Costs
- Seller Responsibility: If the item is faulty or "not as described," the seller is responsible for providing a pre-paid return label or reimbursing shipping costs.
