How to Ship
Last Updated: June 2026
You’ve made the sale! Now it’s time to send those frames off to their new home. Shipping eyewear can feel a bit nerve-wracking—they’re light, but they’re delicate. Follow these steps to make sure your buyer isn't squinting at a bent temple or a cracked lens when the package arrives.
- The "Shake Test"
- No Case? No Problem!
- Box It Up (Avoid Envelopes!)
- The Final Seal
- Seller Checklist:
If you have the original hard case, use it! It’s the best armor. The Trick: Place the glasses inside, fold a microfiber cloth over them, and close the case. Give it a gentle shake. If you hear "clack-clack-clack," add another cloth or some tissue paper until they stay snug.
If the original case is long gone, don't squint in a panic. You can still ship safely: Bubble Wrap is Your Bestie: Wrap the frames in at least two layers of bubble wrap. The "Burrito" Method: Roll them up so the lenses are extra padded. Pay special attention to the hinges!
Even padded mailers can get crushed in the mail. So we always recommend using a sturdy cardboard box. Fill any extra space with crumpled paper or packing peanuts. You want those frames to feel like they’re floating on a cloud.
Tape the box securely and make sure the label is clear and easy to read. You don't want the postal worker squinting at the address!
Clean the lenses with a microfiber cloth (first impressions matter!).
Include any "extras" mentioned in your listing (cases, cloths, or original boxes).
Use a box, not a flimsy envelope.
Drop off with your chosen shipping agent and keep note of that tracking number!
Squinted Wisdom: A little extra padding goes a long way. A safely delivered pair of glasses means a happy buyer and a smooth sale!
