Squinted Community Guidelines
Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to the clearest corner of the internet! We’re a community of frame-fixated, budget-savvy, and eco-conscious shoppers. To keep our marketplace looking sharp, we’ve got a few "house rules" to follow.
- Be "Crystal Clear"
- Keep it Friendly (No Shady Behaviour)
- No "Blurry" Listings
- Respect the "Frame"
- Help Each Other Out
Honesty is our favourite look. If you’re selling, describe your frames exactly as they are—scratches, loose hinges, and all. If you’re buying, ask all the questions you need! Clear communication means nobody is left squinting at the truth.
We’re all here because we love a good pair of specs. Treat your fellow members with respect. Rude comments or aggressive haggling are definitely out of style. If you wouldn't say it to someone’s face (while they’re wearing your favourite frames), don't say it in the messages!
We’re a dedicated eyewear marketplace, not a junk drawer!
Do: Post spectacles and sunglasses - prescription or non-prescription
Don't: Post your old sneakers, your cat, or anything that isn't eyewear-related. We want to keep the feed focused so users don't have to squint to find what they’re looking for.
We’re a community built on trust. Keep your transactions and conversations inside the Squinted platform. It’s the only way we can protect your payments and make sure everything stays in focus for both the buyer and the seller.
See a fellow member asking about a bridge width you recognise? Or maybe someone needs advice on where to get a "Fair" frame repaired? Feel free to share the knowledge! We’re all here to help each other see better for less.
See something "Out of Focus"? If you spot a listing that looks fake, a user being unkind, or someone trying to skirt the rules, send us an email. Our team will take a look so the rest of the community doesn't have to squint at the drama.
